This is the last time...

I'm at the famous internetcafe for the last time. Tomorrow my folks will come with my beloved computer <3
Let's hope the internetconnection in the apaprtment is ok. The house manager just called, but I couldn't hear a word of what he said... I think he said something about that he'll come by tomorrow at 6, let's hope its not 6am...

Really looking forward o the weekend. It'll be good to meet mum and dad again, and Anton. I'll drag him along to Koko! and hopefully Jen can come this time too!

Anyway, next time I write, there will probably be some pictures attached!
Take care
xx

brrr

The shower in our appartment is pathetic. Just wanted to let you know.
It would be easier to wash the hair out in the rain, even if it was just a drizzle...
Good thing: I'll learn not to take long lovely showers as I always do.
Bad thing: I have to take long showers anyway, cause it takes 30 min. to get the hair wet !
I'm glad we don't pay extra for the warm water. and for the gas, it's bloody cold in the flat as well...
stingy englishmen...
They better get it fixed !

trumvirvel...

We've finally moved in to our own flat !

I'm almost gonna miss the sound of St. Pauls bells 24-7, and the constant company of Mr. Mouse.
Some old fellow at the hostel said something about the fact that you're never more than 2 meters from a mouse, wherever in London you are... guess he's right. Don't want to think about the look if you would remove the floor in the hostel restuarant...
On the other side, I guess it isn't any better at, lets say our house in Hällbo? It's almost worse there, cause you can really hear the crawling around in the walls at night. Here in London, at least they're silent. Could that depend on the wonderful thick carpet? Do they have it just to reduce the sound of all the mice? Of course they do, I'm a genius!
I wonder how it'll be in our new flat, where we actually (!) have wooden floor...

Tar sats från himmelen...

Yesterday at Koko was amazing.
Linda and Josefin with their friends are really great people. Too bad Jennie couldn't come, no one party like we do ;)
And Koko... Finally ! lovely to be there, dancing to all that great music.
I was in ecstasy

Wasn't in the same mood this morning though, but under all circumstances, I felt pretty damn good.

Everything is now set with the appartment. Papers are signed (for £50, stupid papers!). Deposites are paid (No use robbing me now...)
We're finally leaving the hostel ! Feels indescribable good.
I know mice can be pretty cute, and I can't say I'm scared of them, but when they're even in the bathrooms, a few inches from your feet (I hope Jennie doesn't read this before monday...), it's not that funny any longer...

Guess we'll have some moving out-party next weekend. I belive at least Anton will come by, and perhaps some more? It'll be a good weekend, just like this one !

I just bought a book acctually, Im so lonely when Jennie's working all day long... Hope it's good, can't imagine anything else...

Good night and good luck !
) Lovely

Life inside the music box ain't easy...

NO MORE HOSTEL !!!

Thats it for now.

Stay clean !
xx

Another day in paradise

New day in London, just droped of Jennie at her restaurant, she had some big test today of all the wines and spirits, Good luck !
Walked by the swedish shop, and found out I got everything I need. Blå bands Bearnaissas and smörgåsrån.

Got an interview for another store in Carnaby tomorrow, and tonight we're gonna go and see an appartment in Brick Lane. If it's close to okey, we'll probably take it. Otherwise I saw a lovely flat with jacuzzi and a beautiful red kitchen at Maryleborne st. It was only £500 per week... Maybe next time...
I'll pay anything to get out of the hostel. I'm actually turning into a croissant...

Tonight we're heading over to Cheers for some soccer and beer. At least soccer.

Guess thats all for now.

Just a thought for my favourite, Heath Ledger.
Rest in peace.

Saturday is laundryday

Today was laundryday. The machine sucked and to call the clothes clean, is lying. But at least they're cleaner.
And we prooved, clothes hangers are sooo overrated ! So, except that our room looks more like Camden Market, we're pretty pleased by the day.
Jennie also got the job at the Occo resturant. Congrats!  I belive she might need it..? ;-)

I'm too tierd to write any more, otherwise I would write the whole story about my anger for Annika, the fucking german, with our appartment, but No. Too long story. Perhaps another time, when I don't pay £2 per hour to get access to the internet.

Good night, hope everyone have a great sat eve.

Oh, by the way, if someone knows how to clean off candle wax of clothes, let me know !

don't try to hide yourself from Mr. D...

I know the last post wasn't very positive and full of happyness, but I was tierd, confused and annoyed (vet inte om det stavas så, skit samma)
It can't be great all the time, but don't woory, we'll be fine !
If anyone would like to get in tuch with me my new numer is removed because of stalking italians.

Take care
xx

Mum, thinking about you
hope you'll be good soon !
<3

Lovely London

fucking jobs
fucking jobcontracts
fucking traffic
fucking rain

Jag saknar mina mjukisbyxor

A stroll through Hyde Park manor

We haven't done much today... Been to Harrods and Hyde Park (checking out the cute squirrels ;-P )
Got an interview for a cafe tomorrow. I don't know if I really want to work at a cafe, I would prefer some store. But I guess I'll take this if I get it, I kind of need the money... :)
But I'm waiting for other jobs to call too, so I'm not totally out of hope...

Guess that's all I have to say for today...

Miss of the day: (except a normal computer, that doesn't cost £2 per hour...)
I really miss having a closet. Keeping all your cloths in a bag isn't that funny after a week... I can't even get the bag into the locker in our new room, its to heavy, and the locker is to high, I simply can't lift it that high...
I guess this isn't our biggest issue at the moment. but still...

A Queer night out...

Almost a week has past since we got to London. A week in a shabby hostel, but I'm starting to get used to it by now. And today we acutally moved in to an even bigger room. Probably the first and only time you get a bigger room with lower rent...
The only problem was to move my 22 kg bag three floors...

Tonight was our first big night out (except from last tuesday when we were out with Mr. "I'm just being nice" and Mr. N. Gallaghers neighbour, but that wasn't a big night out, so it doesn't count!)
Anyway, we went to this indie-rock-electro-something-wannabe-club called After skool klub. Pretty nice, with a lot of nice people !  (especially the asian grandpa, rocking on the dancefloor, and his dnacepartner the glammer...)
Adding some pictures below.

Yesterday we also went to Bayswater (the first thing I saw when I got to London over a year ago)
Felt very good to walk up the Queens road again.
We also walked over to the Portobello Market, trying to find the "Nottinghill door". We didn't find it though... Another time perhaps.

So, tomorrows a new week, and we're both waiting for a few jobs to call. Hopefully we'll be back in buisness by the end of the week. We really need it, cause money has a strange way of just disapearing.

Well, I'm running out of time, so I guess I'll just stop here.
Take care, and try not to miss us too much ;)

                                                           Our big luxury room...

image7  Some of the sexy lads on the dancefloor... Just a liiittle bit queer.... ;-)

image8   Sexy grandpa on the dancefloor (lousy pic I know, but he was hard to catch..)

image9   The Quad (Took us like an Hour before we found it, went through half of London before we found out it was 10 min from our hostel...)

...

Jag saknar min dator väldigt mycket.
These computers sucks big times...

Fuck the germans

Sa, fuck snoring germans, fuck the hostel breakfast, fuck the computers at internet cafes without Michrosoft Word,  and fuck the british javla tangentbord.

Britain doesn't rule so much at the moment...

Outside the sun is shining, seems like heaven ain't far away...

View from our flight, after 7 hours waiting...

By the way, the weather in London is great. Like a Marchday in Sweden. Lovely

London Calling

Finally in London, after the worste 36 hours for a long time. Going up at 9 sunday morning to pack my bag, wich took the hole day... Later that night I couldn't sleep because all the excitement, so I got up again at 1 am, had breakfast, answerd the phone three times, cause the taxidriver failed in geographics when he was younger... Sorry mum and dad, for waking you up.
Went to the taxi, met Jennie and drove to Centralen to take the bus to Skavsta. Unfortunately the central station didn't open until 3.30, so we had to wait outside for 45 minutes. Cold
Finally we got to Skavsta, around 5 am, checked in our bags, (mine had only 7 kg over wight...).
The plane was suppose to take off at 6.40. But no, not today. There were some technical problems, wich caused 6 hours delay.
When we finally got on the plane, around 12 o'clock, there were 5 persons missing on the bordingsh*it, so we had to wait for the crew to sort that out. Unfortunatley, again, one of these 5 men, who desided not to wait for the delay, had checked in a bag, and not taking it back when he decided not to fly today. So the crew hade to unload all the baggage, and everone had to get of the plane, point their bag out, and then get on again. A little bit annoying...
But then, anfter about 7 hours we could take off, Lovely...
So here we sit now, at our hostel, tierd to death, and still unable to hear on one ear, 7 hours after landing. But we're fine. Hoping for a better day tomorrow. At least it won't be worse...

Sadly, the computer at the hostel, isn't high class so I can't upload any pictures.
Check back later, or at facebook.

               Stina, the londoner

Ready for take-off with sun in our eyes...

Good night and good luck, säger jag.
